Tour Description:

Your Champagne DIAMOND SURPRISE – will you be the lucky one?

With nearly 200 years of experience, the team of Royal Coster Diamonds consists of experts in diamond cutting.

Royal Coster Diamonds, located on the Museumplein next to the famous Rijksmuseum, created jewelry for Prince Napoleon, for Empress Sisi and in 1852, the craftsmen of Royal Coster were chosen by Queen Victoria to re-polish the largest diamond in the world; the Koh-I-Noor.

In BIBM Congress 2023s diamond tour, you will be collected at the Hotel Okura. After a short bus shuttle you will enter the Manufactory of Royal Coster Diamonds.

Here you will have a tour through different areas and your Champagne DIAMOND SURPRISE:
Every guest receives a glass of champagne. In each glass, the Royal Coster team has placed a real diamond or a cubic zircon – an imitation diamond.

Nobody can see the difference between a real diamond and the zirconia.
That‘s why Royal Coster has one of their master polishers with a diamond loupe to check each stone.

While the diamond polisher checks the diamond, the master explains a bit about the
process of recognizing a real or a fake diamond. If you have questions about your own jewelry, they will be answered in a discreet and fun manner.

Only one of the stones is a real diamond – will you be the lucky one?
If not, you can also keep the zirconia as a beautiful memento of the entire tour.

Good luck!
